• Each Topic Pack includes a downloadable Write Your Own Notes Workbook. You can print off as many workbooks as you need.
• These booklets follow the same format as the Topic Booklet, using the same images and, thus, helping to reinforce information.
• There are word banks to help, if needed, or pupils can work from memory without them. We would recommend trying to work without them as this encourages pupils to retrieve information from memory which is so vital in preparing for exams. However, we definitely do not want pupils ‘stuck’ and not able to complete their work and that’s where the wordbanks come in.
• The workbook helps pupils to recognise and identify key words by practising writing them, with the support of the word bank and Topic Booklet if needed. Knowing key words and definitions is a simple way to gaining more marks!
• Focus is placed on enabling pupils to complete their work independently and without the need for huge amounts of writing.
